Tasty food, quick service, awesome aesthetics - this a a fantastic seafood shack! Loved how the gator bites are fried but not greasy and that they offer daily specials. It's causal enough for a a family but cute enough for a date night... only thing that might be hard to swing are the prices. Boils are market price which can be pretty hefty for some of the more difficult to access options. But well, that's kind of expected with seafood. I'd still give this place a chance if you're a fan of Cajun cooking.

We love eating here. It's changed ownership since opening at the beginning of COVID. The original staff were from Louisiana and everything was just what we expected. Service is ok with the new owners but not authentic to the culture or cuisine. Sometimes they are out of certain staple items which was expected during the pandemic. But sometimes disappointing now. We realize it's tough in Joplin to be an authentic culturally themed restaurant so we are patient but still wish more people would give them a try so they have enough business to stay open and we'll stocked. Plan on a messy meal if you do it right, don't be afraid to wear a lobster bib and ask for the tools to crack your crab, shrimp or lobster. They have them at the counter but don't bring them out unless you ask.
Best Cajun seafood around! The service /server were awesome, and had a great vibe. But.....that food was the absolute best! fest plus was the best part!!
